Ali and Hengameh | “Engagement Session”
I’m saying “Engagement Session” because Ali and Hengameh aren’t actually engaged but we took photos as if they were. In an attempt to improve my photography skills I recently put out a blast to all my friends on Facebook offering free photo shoots. My friend and co-worker Ali was the first to take me up on the offer. This was my fourth ever engagement session so I was happy that they gave me an opportunity to practice. We decided to do the shoot in Los Gatos near Ali’s house. As always I took my lovely fiancée with me to help me hold my flash and offer input on poses.
I’m Engaged!
This past weekend I FINALLY proposed to my girlfriend of five and a half years. It was a long time coming and I'm so glad she stuck by me all these years. I wanted to really make my proposal special for her because of this. Ever since I got into photography I've always planned on popping the question at a beautiful landscape location. Whenever Chau and I go somewhere I'm always going out at sunset to take photos so I knew I'd have a good excuse to get us out somewhere with a beautiful view
Ryan and Chrissie | Engagement
Justin and I did an E-Session for one of my old high school friends. we needed the practice and they needed some different looking pictures than the ones they got from their photographer so it was a win win situation. during this shoot i got to practice my off camera lighting extensively. i had my girlfriend carry around a monopod with a 580 II attached to the top all evening. i had an awesome time trying to tame the light. here are some of my photos from this shoot. enjoy!
