Ali and Hengameh | “Engagement Session”

I’m saying “Engagement Session” because Ali and Hengameh aren’t actually engaged but we took photos as if they were. In an attempt to improve my photography skills I recently put out a blast to all my friends on Facebook offering free photo shoots. My friend and co-worker Ali was the first to take me up on the offer. This was my fourth ever engagement session so I was happy that they gave me an opportunity to practice. We decided to do the shoot in Los Gatos near Ali’s house. As always I took my lovely fiancée with me to help me hold my flash and offer input on poses.

This was a pose requested by Ali and Hengameh. You can definitely tell Ali made it up, look how happy he looks!

Ali took us all out to dinner. I took this in the restaurant while we waited for our table.
